ProTek Devices Updates Data Sheets for TVS Arrays, Steering Diode Arrays

ProTek Devices' SO-14 Package

ProTek Devices has updated its data sheets for its SM14MxxC and PSMDAxxC transient voltage suppressor (TVS) arrays. Data sheets for the PMMAD and MMAD series and steering diodes have also been updated.

SM14M05C – SM14M24C
The SM14MxxC series are multi-line TVS arrays that provide board-level protection for standard TTL and MOS bus line applications. This includes against damaging effects of electrostatic discharge (ESD), tertiary lightning and switching transients. Ideal applications include multiple I/O ports; board-level interface connections; RS-232, RS-422 and RS-423; and portable electronics.

This series has a peak pulse power rating of 800 Watts for an 8/20μs waveshape. This device series meets the IEC 61000-4-2, IEC 61000-4-4 and IEC 61000-4-5 requirements. The series of TVS arrays also feature bidirectional configuration in a monolithic design. ESD protection is > 25 kilovolts. The series offers protection for up to eight lines and are available in multiple voltages ranging from 5V to 24V. They are RoHS and REACH compliant. Get the updated data sheet here.

PSMDA05C-8 – PSMDA24C-8
The PSMDAxxC-8 series are TVS arrays that provide board-level protection for standard TTL and MOS bus line applications. This is against the damaging effects of ESD, tertiary lightning and switching transients. Applications include multiple I/O ports; board-level interface connections; RS-232, RS-422 and RS-423; and portable electronics.

The PSMDAxxC-8 series has a peak pulse power rating of 450 Watts for an 8/20μs waveshape. This series meets the IEC 61000-4-2, IEC 61000-4-4 and IEC 61000-4-5 requirements. ESD protection is > 25 kilovolts. The series offers protection for up to eight lines. It features bidirectional configuration and a monolithic design. Available in voltages ranging from 5V to 24V, the TVS arrays are RoHS and REACH compliant. The updated data sheet can be had here.

PMMAD Series
ProTek Devices’ PMMAD series are a low distortion steering diodes. These devices are intended for use in high frequency analog or digital data I/O ports for protection against ESD and electrical fast transients (EFT). Such applications include high frequency data lines; RS-232 and RS-422 interface networks; Ethernet 10/100 base T; and computer I/O ports.

The PMMAD series is connected between rail-to-rail voltage bus or rail-to-ground for clamping and diverting overvoltage transients. This series provides low capacitance (5pF per diode), which ensures signal integrity up to 900MHz, while complete isolation between adjacent diodes keeps cross-talk to a minimum. The PMMAD series is available in a SO-14 package and meets the IEC 61000-4-2, IEC 61000-4-4 and IEC 61000-4-5 requirements. It also boasts 500 milliwatt continuous power dissipation and ESD protection of > 25 kilovolts. It protects up to eight I/O lines and has a working voltage of > 50 volts. Low leakage current is < 0.1μA. These steering diodes are RoHS and REACH compliant. This data sheet is available here.

MMAD Series
