TVS Arrays from ProTek Devices Get Updated Data Sheets

PSOT05CLP
The PSOT05CLP is a 5 volt TVS array, designed to deliver circuit protection against ESD, tertiary lightning and switching transients. Ideal applications include RS-232, RS-422 and RS-423; cellular phones and smartphones; control and monitoring systems; handheld devices; and wireless bus protection. This device offers standard capacitance and low clamping voltage for protection across sensitive interfaces. The PSOT05CLP has a peak pulse power of 300 Watts for an 8/20μs waveshape and can be used to protect one bidirectional line or two unidirectional lines. The circuit protection device is compatible with IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD): air 15kV, contact 8kV and with IEC61000-4-4 (EFT): 40A, 5/50ns and IEC 61000-4-5 (surge): 12A, 8/20μs – level 1(line-ground) and level 2 (line-line). It is also RoHS and REACH compliant.

The PSOT05CLP is offered in a molded JEDEC SOT-23 package with an approximate weight of just 8 milligrams. Other key mechanical characteristics include lead-free pure-tin plating (annealed) and a solder reflow temperature (pure-tin – Sn, 100) of 260-270 degrees Celsius. PSD03 – PSD36C
The PSDxx and PSDxxC series consist of TVS arrays to deliver ESD protection (> 25kV) in applications that include smartphones, laptop computers, and other portable electronics. These silicon-based diodes offer superior clamping voltage and performance compared to other technologies, such as MLVs. The PSDxx and PSDxxC series can be used as a single line protector in either a unidirectional or bidirectional configuration. Unidirectional is rated at 500 watts peak pulse power per line (tp = 8/20μs). Bidirectional is rated at 400 watts peak pulse power per line (tp = 8/20μs). They protect one power or I/O port. The PSDxx and PSDxxC series is compatible with IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD): air – 15kV, contact – 8kV, with IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT): 40A – 5/50ns, and with IEC 61000-4-5 (surge): 24A, 8/20μs level 2 (line-gnd) and level 3 (line-line). The series is available in multiple voltages ranging from 3V to 36V. They are RoHS and REACH compliant.
