ProTek offers low capacitance TVS protection by combining steering diodes with TVS diodes into a single package.  This unique design provides high-speed data line and I/O port protection from transients caused by Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Electrical Fast Transients (EFT), Tertiary Lightning and other induced voltages.  These devices are ideal for use in Ethernet (10/100 Base T), USB, RS-485, RS-422 Interfaces and Audio/Video Inputs.

These devices have been tested up to 25,000 volts of contact ESD conditions.  In addition, Steering Diode/TVS Arrays are designed to meet ESD immunity requirement IEC 61000-4-2 (Air - 15kV, Contact - 8kV), EFT immunity requirement IEC 61000-4-4 (40A, 5/50ns) and Surge (Line to Ground and Line to Line) immunity requirement IEC 61000-4-5 (Levels vary depending upon product series).

Voltages range from 3.3V to 15V and have power ratings between 175 Watt to 500 Watts peak pulse power per line for an 8/20µs waveform.  Package type also varies from SC70-5L to SOIC-8.
